Your Legacy Video Project offers an unparalleled opportunity for individuals to safeguard their life stories, family legacies, achievements, or any cherished memories.
You will be working with Adam Carter, a seasoned documentary videographer focused on storytelling to professionally capture the aspects of your life that are important to you. Best of all, your video will be presented in your own words, your own voice, and from the comfort of your home.
How does Your Legacy Project work?
It all begins with a conversation. There are multiple packages available that can be tailored to produce your desired outcome. Adam will provide an idea sheet to help identify and organize your stories, thoughts and anecdotes that are most important.
At this stage, and depending on the package you desire, we will help identify any important photos, home video, maps, documents, newspaper clippings and physical objects/heirlooms to digitize. The inclusion of supporting items will help to create a more complete documentary. It is also possible to research information on your behalf in order to locate any other supporting items that may exist that you’d like to include.
The video shoot will take place at the location of your choice and be conducted in a conversation/interview style that promotes a comfortable and professional situation. The setup will include 2-3 cameras, multiple lights and microphones. We understand that this may seem a bit daunting for some, however Adam is an expert and you will soon forget about the cameras, lights and easily slip into a friendly conversation sharing your stories.
